Sticky Plum Marinade  / Dipping Sauce Recipe by Nadine Lloyd

Ingredients: (Makes 1 Jar)

  • 1x (425g) (15oz.) tin plums

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic – crushed

  • 2 tablespoons Miso paste

  • 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce

  • ¼ cup Hoisin sauce

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ¼ cup sherry

  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil

  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice blend

 

Method:

Using a medium-sized jug, roughly whisk or pulse using a blender, all the all the plum marinade ingredients together.

Use as a marinade or an Asian dipping sauce.
