Ginger Lime and Honey Tuna Recipe by Nadine Lloyd


(Makes 18-24)

  • 1½ tablespoons grape-seed oil

  • 0.55lb (250g) fresh tuna steak

  • Zest from 1 lime


  • 2 tablespoons ginger – grated

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce

  • Juice from 1 lime



Using a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients together.

Heat the oil in a small frying pan.

Cut the tuna steak into bite-sized cubes.

Fry each tuna cube for 15 seconds on one side.

Flip and fry for a further 15 seconds on the other side.

Remove immediately and place on paper towel.

Once cooled, place each tuna cube in a serving spoon.

Stir the sauce to mix the settled ginger through the liquid.

Pour a small quantity of sauce over each piece of tuna.

Garnish with lime zest.

Serve immediately.
